For the CCA’s 40th anniversary, edb furnished the public spaces of the Montreal institution. Fluorescent colours and white carrera marble for the cocktail area, fluid shapes for the projection room, cosy armchairs for the atrium of the Shaughnessy House. A set of asymmetries and symmetries for an architectural rhythm.

The CCA was founded in 1979 by Phyllis Lambert as a new form of cultural institution, with the aim of raising public awareness of the role of architecture in contemporary society and promoting research in this field.
